They also talk at length about the demise of Sunrise Calendar and how hard it is to find something to replace it. Yalim sees a bigger challenge; acquisitions endanger the free internet and are not helpful to innovation. If HTTP or Wikipedia would be invented today, would they have a chance to remain independent?
